ALTERNATIVES TO INCARCERATION
The Center for Community Justice administers a range of
services designed to ease the burden on Schenectady County's overcrowded jails
and courts, as well as hold offenders accountable for their actions.

MEDIATION
ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Mediation and conflict resolution are among the most
effective methods of permanently resolving disputes. The Center for Community
Justice has developed several conflict resolution programs to give families,
members of the business community, and youth a forum to work through disputed
issues, and resolve problems peacefully.

ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT SERVICES
Criminal behavior affects the entire community, and there
are few individuals more vulnerable than the children of victims and offenders.
For this reason, the Center for Community Justice offers services that give
children a voice, help children find stable and supportive homes, and help
families heal.
